Judge Limits Kodak's Patent Suit Vs. Agfa

Law360 (July 19, 2004, 12:00 AM EDT) -- A U.S. District Court Judge has ruled that Kodak did not give adequate warning of potential infringements in some of its claims against German rival Agfa, but nonetheless rejected Agfa’s motion to have the patent lawsuit dismissed.

Judge Michael A. Telesca of the U.S. District Court for the Western District of New York determined that Kodak gave actual notice of infringement on some of its claims, but found the company failed to give notice on certain other claims.
