Delta Offloads 2 Regional Carriers For $82.5M

Law360, New York (July 1, 2010, 4:54 PM EDT) -- Delta Air Lines Inc. has reached deals to sell off two of its regional air carrier subsidiaries, Mesaba Airlines and Compass Airlines Inc., for a combined $82.5 million.

The air travel giant sold Mesaba to Memphis, Tenn.-based Pinnacle Airlines Corp. for $62 million and Compass to St. Louis-based Trans States Holdings Inc. for $20.5 million, Delta said Thursday.
