Oil Cos. Accused of Fleecing Drivers In Four States

Law360, New York (February 2, 2007, 12:00 AM EST) -- Motorists in four U.S. states have this week launched legal action against the oil industry over claims energy companies have conspired to rip off drivers at the gas pump.

Residents and businesses in Kansas, Missouri and Oklahoma have joined angry Kentucky drivers in suing the energy giants, including Shell, British Petroleum, and Exxon, for what they allege is a deliberate campaign to fleece customers.
