Chinese Wire Decking Cos. Avoid Dumping Duties

Law360, New York (July 2, 2010, 12:23 PM EDT) -- The U.S. International Trade Commission has determined that imports of wire decking from China have not harmed the domestic industry, despite the Department of Commerce's finding that exporters and producers had dumped the product in the U.S. at up to 143 percent below normal value.

In a split vote, the ITC decided Thursday that a U.S. industry is neither materially injured nor threatened with material injury by the Chinese wire decking imports at issue, cutting short any plans to issue an anti-dumping or countervailing duty order....
