Wal-Mart Medical Treatment Class Action Proceeds

Law360, New York (July 1, 2010, 6:25 PM EDT) -- A judge has lifted a stay in a class action alleging Wal-Mart Stores Inc. perpetrated a conspiracy to manipulate the medical treatment received by injured workers, now that an appeals court has declined to hear an appeal of a class certification order in the case.

There is no reason to continue the stay of the case, Judge Robert E. Blackburn ruled in the U.S. District Court for the District of Colorado on Thursday.
