Insurer Escapes Liability In Oil Filter Antitrust Case

Law360, New York (July 2, 2010, 1:25 PM EDT) -- A federal judge has ruled that a subsidiary of American International Group Inc. does not need to defend or indemnify automotive company Champion Laboratories Inc. in an antitrust class action alleging the firm conspired to fix the price of oil, air and fuel filters.
