Ex-Boeing Workers' Age Bias Class Action Dismissed

Law360, New York (July 2, 2010, 3:12 PM EDT) -- A federal judge has dismissed a suit accusing The Boeing Co. and Spirit Aerosystems Inc. of illegally terminating older workers, ruling that the plaintiffs failed to show that the companies fostered a corporate culture of age bias.

Judge Eric F. Melgren of the U.S. District Court for the District of Kansas on Wednesday granted summary judgment to Boeing and Spirit in the ex-Boeing workers' Age Discrimination in Employment Act suit.
