Ball Bearing Anti-Dumping Duties Survive Challenge

Law360, New York (July 7, 2010, 12:53 PM EDT) -- In a victory for domestic bearing manufacturer The Timken Co., a federal judge has affirmed the U.S. Department of Commerce's administrative review of anti-dumping duty orders on ball bearings from France, Germany, Italy, Japan and the United Kingdom, rejecting a challenge by JTEKT Corp.

Commerce's final results in the review were in accordance with the law, and all entries on subject merchandise should be liquidated, Judge Timothy Stanceu of the U.S. Court of International Trade ruled Tuesday.
