Juniper, Others Sued Over Network Security Patent

Law360, New York (July 7, 2010, 2:13 PM EDT) -- Patent-holding company Network Protection Sciences LLC has launched a suit accusing Juniper Networks Inc, SonicWall Inc. and three other technology companies of infringing a network security patent.

Longview, Texas-based NPS claims in a complaint filed Tuesday in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Texas that Juniper, SonicWall, Fortinet Inc., WatchGuard Technologies Inc. and Deep Nines Inc. produce products that implement firewall technology described and claimed in U.S. Patent Number 5,623,601.
