5th Circ. Won't Let DOI Impose Gulf Drilling Ban

Law360, New York (July 8, 2010, 7:12 PM EDT) -- A federal appeals court on Thursday refused to stay an injunction barring the U.S. Department of the Interior from enforcing a six-month drilling prohibition in the Gulf of Mexico, calling the DOI's fears of dangerous deepwater drilling without the ban "entirely speculative."
