Rx USA Hit With Sanctions Over Faked E-Mails

Law360, New York (July 8, 2010, 2:27 PM EDT) -- A magistrate judge has slapped Rx USA International Inc. with sanctions for allegedly fabricating evidence throughout its nine-year, multimillion-dollar litigation against Amerisource Corp. over breach of contract, business torts and antitrust claims.

Magistrate Judge Joan M. Azrack of the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of New York on Tuesday ordered Rx USA and its top executive Robert Drucker to pay $50,000 to Amerisource and $50,000 to the court for using altered e-mails as evidence in the dispute.
