Pfizer Appeals Viagra Ruling In China

Law360 (February 6, 2007, 12:00 AM EST) -- After suffering a blow in its bid to protect the rights to Viagra in China, Pfizer Inc. is appealing a Beijing court ruling that the drug maker can no longer use the name Wei Ge, or “mighty brother,” to market its erectile dysfunction drug.

Pfizer said on Tuesday that it filed its appeal in the Beijing No. 1 Intermediate People's Court on Jan. 30.
