Chinese Paper Co. Seeks Judgment In Duties Case

Law360, New York (July 12, 2010, 1:19 PM EDT) -- Chinese paper maker The Watanabe Group is seeking judgment on the agency record in a suit over anti-dumping duties of more than 250 percent on lined paper.

The government's final results imposing the duties were not supported by substantial evidence, the company argued in a motion filed Friday in the U.S. Court of International Trade.

Watanabe argues that some of its sales were improperly reviewed by the U.S. Department of Commerce in two consecutive reviews and that the government should not have applied an adverse inference...
