Importer Can Enter Iron Castings Dumping Case

Law360, New York (July 13, 2010, 1:57 PM EDT) -- A federal judge has approved castings importer NDS Inc.'s request to jump into a suit three domestic producers have brought against the U.S. Department of Commerce contesting a finding that certain flappers, grates and frames from China fall outside the scope of an anti-dumping order.

Judge Nicholas Tsoucalas of the U.S. Court of International Trade on Monday approved NDS' request to intervene. NDS said Friday that it should be allowed to enter the suit because it requested the determination that is being challenged.
