US Erred In Assessing Pipe Duty: Jiangsu Changbao

Law360, New York (July 13, 2010, 12:49 PM EDT) -- Steel tube maker Jiangsu Changbao Steel Tube Co. Ltd. and an affiliate have filed a complaint challenging a hefty 99.14 percent duty the U.S. Department of Commerce issued on oil drilling pipe products as the China-based plaintiffs seek judicial review in the fight over anti-dumping duties.

Commerce's May 21 final determination assigning the duty margin is not supported by substantial evidence, according to the four-page complaint filed Monday in the U.S. Court of International Trade.
