Markey Asks FDA To Look Into Arsenic In Gulf Seafood

Law360, New York (July 14, 2010, 3:40 PM EDT) -- Rep. Edward Markey, D-Mass., is calling on the U.S. Food and Drug Administration to respond to new reports that the oil spilling from the BP PLC-operated Deepwater Horizon rig could potentially contaminate Gulf of Mexico seafood with high levels of arsenic found in oil.
