Electronics Co. Seeks $2.5M In TV Receiver Duties Suit

Law360, New York (July 16, 2010, 5:42 PM EDT) -- A domestic electronics manufacturer has fired off a suit alleging the U.S. government owes it more than $2.5 million in dumping offsets based on duties assessed on color television receivers from China.

Greeneville, Tenn.-based Five Rivers Electronics Innovation LLC lodged the suit Thursday with the U.S. Court of International Trade, seeking the reversal of U.S. Customs and Border Protection’s refusal to accept its certification for distribution of funds for the 2009 fiscal year.
