Denny's Loses Bid To Toss EEOC Disability Claims

Law360, New York (July 19, 2010, 4:03 PM EDT) -- Denny's Inc. has lost a bid to toss the discrimination claims of a woman at the center of a U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission lawsuit that accuses the restaurant of violating the Americans with Disabilities Act and identifies dozens of former employees as potential claimants.

Judge William D. Quarles Jr. of the U.S. District Court for the District of Maryland on Friday refused to grant Denny's summary judgment on the claims of Paula Hart, an amputee who was fired from her manager position in 2003....
