Philips, Biomet Accused Of False Patent Marking

Law360, New York (July 20, 2010, 2:29 PM EDT) -- An entity called Tex Pat LLC has launched a handful of qui tam actions accusing Koninklijke Philips Electronics NV, Biomet Inc., Xylos Corp. and other companies of falsely marking their products with expired patents.

Tex Pat filed two suits Sunday and three more on Monday in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Texas.
