Qwest Loses Bid To Boot Technician OT Suit

Law360, New York (July 21, 2010, 1:46 PM EDT) -- A judge has rejected a bid by Qwest Corp. to dismiss a class action brought by current and former network technicians in Minnesota accusing the telecommunications company of forcing them to work off the clock to meet productivity standards.

Judge Ann D. Montgomery of the U.S. District Court for the District of Minnesota ruled Tuesday that the Fair Labor Standards Act case brought by technicians Lyle Brennan, Christopher Richard and Michael Lundell should go forward.
