Google Offers AdWords Policy Changes In French Case

Law360, New York (July 21, 2010, 4:58 PM EDT) -- Google Inc. has offered to clarify the content policies for its AdWords service in order to address concerns from France's competition enforcer that the Internet search giant's current policies discriminate against speed camera database suppliers.

France's Competition Authority launched a market test of Google's proposed commitments Wednesday, which could resolve the investigation into the complaint from French company Navx if the regulator finds Google's suggestions adequate.
