Corps Takes 'Pyrrhic Victory' In Water Rights MDL

Law360, New York (July 22, 2010, 4:57 PM EDT) -- The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers has technically beat claims that it violated the National Environmental Policy Act through operations near the borders of Alabama, Georgia and Florida, but a federal judge slammed the Corps for ignoring its environmental duties and gumming up the decades-long water rights battle.
