Suit Accuses NYRA Of Withholding Winnings

Law360 (February 8, 2007, 12:00 AM EST) -- A North Dakota-based bet processing company has filed an adversary suit against the bankrupt New York Racing Association, claiming that association that runs New York’s largest racetracks is giving it short shrift on a $1.6 million debt.

The adversary case was filed Tuesday by Lien Games Racing LLC, with the same Manhattan bankruptcy court in which the New York Racing Association (NYRA) sought Chapter 11 protection in November 2006.
