E.U. Filing Heats Up Airbus, Boeing Dispute

Law360, New York (February 9, 2007, 12:00 AM EST) -- The European Union has fired back in its long-running dispute with the United States over subsidies for Boeing Inc. and Airbus, filing a response to claims the U.S. made in an earlier complaint filed with the World Trade Organization.

The E.U.’s response challenges the U.S.’ assertion that subsidies to Airbus are having a negative impact on Boeing, E.U. officials told the Associated Press.
