DOC Maintains 330% Duty On Chinese Saccharin

Law360, New York (July 23, 2010, 12:12 PM EDT) -- The U.S. Department of Commerce has left intact a 330 percent anti-dumping duty margin on saccharin from China, preserving its initial finding because a key respondent, Kaifeng Xinhua Fine Chemical Factory, did not participate in the review.

Interested parties from China were invited to give the input as the International Trade Administration launched an administrative review in 2009, but none did, according to a Federal Register notice filed Friday.

The initial anti-dumping duty order, from July 2003, came up for review in July 2009.
