MTZ Polyfilms Fails To Overturn Indian Film Duties

Law360, New York (July 26, 2010, 3:24 PM EDT) -- The U.S. Court of International Trade has rejected MTZ Polyfilms Ltd.'s latest challenge to the Department of Commerce's calculation of countervailing duties on polyethylene film from India.

The court on Friday released a public version of Judge Evan J. Wallach's July 14 denial of MTZ's motion for judgment on the agency record, a ruling that affirmed the agency's final results of its December 2008 countervailing duty administrative review for the items.
