Infant Death Prompts Recall Of Baby Recliners

Law360, New York (July 26, 2010, 2:15 PM EDT) -- The death of an infant has led Baby Matters LLC to issue a voluntary recall of at least 30,000 portable baby recliners whose harnesses have failed to prevent babies from falling over the side of the product.

The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission announced the recall Monday, following a report of a 4-month-old who died after partially falling out of a Nap Nanny recliner that had been placed inside a crib.
