OSHA, CPSC Asked To Probe Chinese Grating

Law360, New York (July 26, 2010, 1:11 PM EDT) -- Domestic steel grating producers have asked consumer product and workplace safety regulators to investigate potentially defective steel grating from China, citing falsified documents that surfaced during a recent anti-dumping and countervailing duty investigation.

The producers, Alabama Metal Industries Corp. and Fisher & Ludlow Inc., submitted a letter to the Occupational Safety and Health Administration and the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission on Monday.
