Akin Gump Bills Tower Almost $6M

Law360, New York (February 9, 2007, 12:00 AM EST) -- The firm representing the official committee of unsecured creditors in Tower Automotive Inc.’s Chapter 11 proceedings has filed a fee application seeking more than $800,000 for three months worth of work and expenses.

Akin Gump Strauss Hauer & Feld LLP’s latest bid for fees and expenses - its seventh - covers work done between Aug. 1 and Oct. 31, 2006. The firm’s fees and expenses from that period will push the overall cost of the firm’s work for Tower’s unsecured creditors past the $6 million mark,...
