Ex-Morgan Crucible CEO Found Guilty Of Conspiracy

Law360, New York (July 27, 2010, 6:39 PM EDT) -- A federal jury on Tuesday found former Morgan Crucible Co. PLC CEO Ian Norris guilty of conspiring to obstruct justice during a grand jury investigation into price-fixing in the carbon products industry.

The verdict, in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania, sets the stage for Norris to be sentenced Nov. 2. The conspiracy count carries a maximum penalty of five years in prison and a $250,000 fine, the DOJ said.
