Triton IP Strikes Again With Software Patents

Law360 (February 12, 2007, 12:00 AM EST) -- Less than four months after settling an infringement suit against Microsoft Corp., a Texas patent holding company has filed a new case against a group of software companies over sales force management technology.

The complaint, filed Feb. 9 in federal court for the Eastern District of Texas, was filed by Marshall, Tex.-based Triton IP LLC against British business management software company Sage Group Plc. The suit also named its Irvin, Calif.-based subsidiary, Sage Software Inc.
