Salmonella Outbreak Prompts Reptile Food Recall

Law360, New York (July 28, 2010, 6:22 PM EDT) -- The maker of a popular brand of frozen reptile food has initiated a nationwide recall due to the product's link to salmonella outbreaks in 17 states.

The U.S. Food and Drug Administration announced the voluntary recall Monday, warning purchasers not to handle the product, which is made by Biggers & Callaham LLC, a Georgia-based company doing business as Mice Direct.
