Witness Notes To Be Handed Over In Milk Antitrust MDL

Law360, New York (July 29, 2010, 5:20 PM EDT) -- A magistrate judge overseeing multidistrict litigation alleging an antitrust conspiracy in the U.S. milk industry has ordered the dairy farmer plaintiffs to turn over certain communications between counsel Howrey LLP and their expert witness to Dairy Farmers of America Inc. and the other defendants.

Magistrate Judge Dennis Inman of the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Tennessee on Wednesday granted the defendants’ bid to compel the plaintiffs to produce the firm’s written communications upon which the expert relied in forming his opinions.
