Skilling Seeks Bail During 'Honest Services' Remand

Law360, New York (July 29, 2010, 2:03 PM EDT) -- Imprisoned ex-Enron Corp. CEO Jeffrey Skilling is seeking to be released on bail while he appeals his conviction in the wake of a U.S. Supreme Court decision invalidating the government's theory of honest services fraud.

Skilling filed a request Wednesday with the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit claiming the high court's ruling in June will likely result in his conviction being overturned or at least a shorter prison sentence.
