ConEd Settles With NYC Steam Pipe Blast Victim

Law360, New York (July 29, 2010, 5:02 PM EDT) -- Consolidated Edison of New York Inc. has reportedly settled a lawsuit brought against the utility by a tow-truck driver who was severely injured when a New York steam pipe exploded beneath his vehicle.

Gregory McCullough, who was 21 years old in 2007 when the accident occurred, reached a deal with ConEd on Wednesday in litigation in the Supreme Court of the State of New York, County of Kings, according to the Associated Press.
