Slip 'N Slide Trademark Suit Slips Past Dismissal Bid

Law360, New York (July 29, 2010, 5:22 PM EDT) -- Wham-O Inc., which makes the popular Slip 'n Slide waterslide, can continue its trademark infringement suit against Manley Toys Ltd. — which makes similar products — following a federal judge's denial of the defendant's bid for summary judgment.

Judge Ronald S.W. Lew of the U.S. District Court for the Central District of California on Wednesday ruled that Wham-O was not precluded from bringing the suit just because it prevailed in a similar action against another company alleged to be related to Manley.
