Encryption Export Process Now Less Complex

Law360, New York (August 5, 2010, 10:46 AM EDT) -- A new interim final rule published by the U.S. Department of Commerce's Bureau of Industry and Security will result in significant changes for most companies that export commercial encryption items — articles, technical data or software — from the United States.
