US Trustee Objects To Everest Disclosure Statement

Law360, New York (July 30, 2010, 12:10 PM EDT) -- The U.S. trustee in the bankruptcy of an Everest Development Co. affiliate has objected to the debtor's disclosure statement, saying it doesn't explain who will own the reorganized company, among other omissions.

In an objection filed Thursday in the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the District of Colorado, U.S. Trustee Charles F. McVay also said 7677 East Berry Avenue Associates LP's disclosure statement didn't provide enough information about the reasons for the proposed substantive consolidation of multiple debtors in the case, the inclusion of third-party releases or...
