FTC To Moderate Net Neutrality Discussion

Law360 (February 12, 2007, 12:00 AM EST) -- Business leaders, government officials, consumer advocates and academics will convene in Washington, D.C. on Tuesday and Wednesday to discuss the increasingly heated subject of “net neutrality.”

The workshop, hosted by the Federal Trade Commission, will allow the relevant parties to air their grievances in panels moderated by government officials. Perhaps more importantly, it should also bring to light competition, consumer protection and other issues that could arise with or without a net neutrality law.
