Verizon Fails To Squash Cable Installers' OT Claims

Law360, New York (August 2, 2010, 1:40 PM EDT) -- A federal judge has ruled that for the purposes of a Fair Labor Standards Act suit, Verizon Inc. may be an employer of a group of laborers who installed fiber-optic cable for a Verizon contractor in Maryland and claim they were not paid overtime.
