Foamex Emerges From Chapter 11

Law360, New York (February 12, 2007, 12:00 AM EST) -- Fresh from winning confirmation of its reorganization plan, Foamex International Inc. announced that it has emerged from bankruptcy protection, has named a new company president, and will finish making distributions from its Chapter 11 case by Thursday.

The company announced Monday that Gregory J. Christian, who had served as the company’s chief restructuring officer, has been named president. Christian, who joined the company in 1996, will also continue to serve on the company's board of directors.
