US Says It Has Given Stanford More Than Enough Docs

Law360, New York (August 2, 2010, 5:38 PM EDT) -- Federal prosecutors are objecting to document requests filed by counsel for alleged Ponzi schemer Robert Allen Stanford, saying the demands extend far beyond the government's discovery obligations.

Prosecutors asked Judge David Hittner of the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Texas to reject Stanford's bid for the addresses and phone numbers of everyone the government has interviewed but does not intend to call as a witness.
