EU Raids Polyurethane Foam Makers In Cartel Probe

Law360, New York (August 3, 2010, 5:26 PM EDT) -- The European Commission said Tuesday it had raided the offices of several polyurethane foam manufacturers as part of a probe into alleged cartel activity.

The unannounced inspections, which began on July 27, mark the first step in an investigation of anti-competitive practices in the polyurethane industry, the commission said in a statement.
