US Shaves 13% From Belgium Coil Steel Duty

Law360, New York (August 3, 2010, 12:06 PM EDT) -- Citing an error on its part, the U.S. Department of Commerce has shaved more than 13 percent from the Belgium-wide anti-dumping duty deposit rate for shipments of stainless steel plate in coils.

The rate should be 8.54 percent pursuant to a 2007 finding by the World Trade Organization, which asked for a reduction after it investigated the U.S.' zeroing practices, Commerce's International Trade Administration said Tuesday in a Federal Register notice.
