Mass. Lawmakers OK Workers' Comp Insurance Bill

Law360, New York (August 4, 2010, 11:27 AM EDT) -- Massachusetts lawmakers have handed a power boost to employees, giving the green light to legislation that will allow any three individuals to bring workers' compensation claims against employers and insurers as a private attorneys general action.

The measure, S.B. 2375, was approved by both the state Senate and House of Representatives on Saturday, and has been sent to the governor's desk for approval.
