Parr Brown Reps SkyWest In $133M ExpressJet Deal

Law360, New York (August 4, 2010, 1:52 PM EDT) -- SkyWest Inc. announced Wednesday that it had agreed to buy rival regional airline ExpressJet Holdings Inc. for $133 million, immediately prompting several plaintiffs firms to launch investigations into whether ExpressJet's board met its duty to shareholders by adequately shopping the company.

The two carriers entered into a definitive merger agreement calling for SkyWest subsidiary Atlantic Southeast Airlines Inc. to pay $6.75 per share in cash for all outstanding shares of ExpressJet's common stock.
