Developer Sues Halliburton For $1B Over Gulf Spill

Law360, New York (August 5, 2010, 3:50 PM EDT) -- A Florida real estate development company has sued Halliburton Energy Services Inc. for its role in the Deepwater Horizon oil spill in the Gulf of Mexico, saying the company was a key participant in a number of systemic failures that contributed to the disaster.
