Nat'l Union, Nvidia End GPU Litigation Coverage Row

Law360, New York (August 6, 2010, 3:48 PM EDT) -- Nvidia Corp. and National Union Fire Insurance Co. of Pittsburgh, Pa., have resolved a lawsuit in which the insurer sought a court declaration that it did not have to defend or indemnify Nvidia against a putative class action brought by consumers who alleged defective Nvidia chips made their computers malfunction.

Judge Claudia Wilken of the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of California signed off on an order dismissing National Union's case against Nvidia with prejudice Thursday.
