Illegal Pay Verdict Against POGO, Gov't Worker Nixed

Law360, New York (August 6, 2010, 4:31 PM EDT) -- A federal appeals court has ruled that a district court erred when it failed to instruct a jury to account for an oversight group's intent in sharing settlement money from an oil royalties-related qui tam suit with a government adviser, an exchange that allegedly violated a law restricting nongovernment pay for federal workers.
