Honda Recalls 383K Cars In US Over Roll Risk

Law360, New York (August 9, 2010, 3:44 PM EDT) -- American Honda Motor Co. on Monday announced a recall of approximately 383,000 Accord, Civic and Element vehicles in the U.S. to fix a potential roll-away risk caused by removing keys from the ignition of a car in gear.

The company said it was recalling approximately 197,000 Accord and 117,000 Civic sedans from the 2003 model year and around 69,000 Element sport utility vehicles from the 2003 and 2004 model years because of a wearing down of the ignition interlock feature. The recall is Honda's fourth this...
